Purpose of Role

 

To provide bespoke training in the healthcare sector within your locality.

Key Result Areas

  • To deliver training in accordance with the relevant lesson timetable and to a high standard.
  • Maintain and develop internal and external communications.
  • To comply with all company processes and procedures.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all relevant paperwork is accurately completed by learners and submitted to the administration department within set timescales.
  • Flexibility is a prime requirement of staff.
  • Carry out any additional duties as reasonably requested by line management.

 

Qualifications

 

 Any Level 3 or above teaching qualification (for example, PGCE, Cert Ed, 7307, 7407).

 

Experience

 

 Can demonstrate experience in the field of training and development, (successful applicants will however gain full training in the courses we offer).

The successful applicant will be confident, organised and punctual.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are paramount – must be able to communicate with, and engage, people at all levels. Transferring information without misinterpretation.

Confidence – must be able to manage peoples’ behaviour to maximise the learning within a group situation.

Strong listening skills are essential – must be able to listen to others effectively, responding to uncertainties, questions and queries, providing concise answers and examples to exemplify points further when necessary.

Independence – must be able to work effectively without direct reliance on others, organising training sessions with little day-to-day guidance.

Time management – must be able to manage their own time-keeping as well as the timing of a training session effectively.

Uses initiative – can resolve unexpected issues (i.e. problems at a venue ) successfully on their own.

Takes responsibility for the quality of the courses which they deliver, ensuring that all individuals in a group leave the session with a clear understanding of the training materials.

  • Can demonstrate an ability to research unfamiliar topics.
  • Committed to continuous improvement – personal and organisational – can listen to constructive input and use this to improve their own practice.
