MedEx Training

About Us

The Chief Executive of MedEx Training Limited, Rachael Fletcher, comes from healthcare and training background. The company was first established as MedEx Training Solutions in September 2005. Initially, the idea was to provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation training to GP’s and dentists. The MedEx Training Solutions Logo was based on an idea representing the chain of survival which is part of the CPR Training. In the chain of survival there are four links the third deemed to be the most important. The company strap line “A vital link in the chain of survival” was quickly replaced as it would always limit the type of training they could provide. To be successful MedEx knew that it would need to expand both the range of courses offered and its customer base and within a couple of months the company had their first annual contract to provide training to a group of care homes.

MedEx Training Solutions grew extremely rapidly in its first 12 months and in the summer of 2006 Emma Harrison, Chairman of A4e, made the company a ‘business proposition’ and as a result MedEx Training Solutions became MedEx Training Limited and is a part of the A4e group of companies.

Looking to the future MedEx Training will continue its rapid expansion and secure this by calling on the skills and expertise A4e have to offer.

We are actively seeking further diversification of our customer base; recently tendering for additional Local Authority contracts, developing our work with private healthcare groups and building a larger portfolio of hospitality and catering clients. In addition to this we are discussing ways in which we could be delivering more training directly to other industries.
